I have had the good fortune to spend the last decade working at the ground level of a fast-moving startup. I started from the bottom at an entry level position and worked my way up to being the Senior Director. From this experience, I was able to gain a unique view from being part of the decisions and mistakes a company makes as it goes from the brink of bankruptcy to growth on a global scale.
My initiatives to continuously automate as much work as possible, pragmatically re-evaluate processes, and improve redundancy allowed the company revenue and userbase to grow at an exponential rate while not increasing headcount. The extra capital this saved allowed us to easily handle industry-wide downturns without having to cut any of the workforce or pull back on any projects or goals.
May 2023 – May 2026
- Trained custom AI Tutors for every textbook offered on the Platform. Each Tutor is based on the idea of conversational learning, which allows the student to talk back and forth with the Tutor using voice or text to ask or answer questions
- Leveraged LLMs to generate automatic content tagging for Common Core Standards, Next Generation Science Standards
- Leveraged LLMs to create meaningful, near infinite Question Pools trained on embedded content directly from the texts
- Independently lead the initiative and wrote the tooling for properly maintaining expiry of our Licensed content, which recovered nearly a third of our potential lost revenue to date
- Worked in conjunction with the Sales and Marketing departments to harden and improve onboarding and retention funnels

- Worked in tandem with C-Level Executives to expand the company as it grew from a handful of employees to a global company
- Independently initiated, designed, developed, and completed a project worth millions in annual revenue
- Mantained a lean workforce by automating development, support, marketing, and sales tasks
